“These Christmas carol arrangements enrich the respective chorales with preludes and interludes, choral movements, over-choruses and the ability to be performed with string orchestra. The choral parts can be performed for three or four voices and are of manageable difficulty. The versions with strings enrich the sound and are set in a manner typical of the instrument; they also refrain from merely doubling the organ. Notes on the performance supplement the composer’s edition.” (Kirchenmusik im Bistum Limburg 2/19)
